Oh my, I remember those years. I swear I thought the word sippy was a 4 letter word instead of five... I took my sons bottle away at 13 months and I was blessed he didn't fight me over it, it was the passy we had a harder time with. And boys start terrible twos areound 18 months.. lol and they last till they are 3 and a half... but just so you have somehting to look forward to, ages 4, 5 and 6 have all been awesome. I played Star Wars Galaxies all during those years, now Daz takes up most of my free time, I still play it occasionally but I just don't have the ineterest in it I used to have.

I of course want him to grow out of these "terrible two's" but at the same time I don't want to wish away his childhood. My mom says I had a holy terror to make up for how I was. lol!

Everytime I had the urge to have another child, I remember those growing up years.. lol

*hugs* I know how it feels being without a good internet connection. I have played EQ for 8 years, well 9 now and I cant imagine being without my EQ friends.

Good luck hun and hope you get your DSL soon.. not *daz soon* either :p

Well... I got both of ya beat. I got an almost 3 year old who still takes bottles and hates the potty! Both mine talk a good bit but the younger one is a bit slower on the talking as well. he went thru a phase where he didn't grow right so they told me he's gonna be the slower developer. Its nothing serious Keth- I promise. They all do it at different ages, my first was about four months old when he said mama and dada. The second was about a year before he could even do that. He's still the slower of the two but they do grow out of it. Mine are driving me nuts too- yelling NO whenever I tell them not to do something. I got a kewl book that helped me though "How to make your children mind without losing yours" (I'm not religious, but the book is a bit, but still helpful) . as far as games go- I'm playing warhammer online(LOVE IT!!) and still missing EQ2 though.
Anyways, chin up! Potty training and talking will happen more and more quickly :)

*grin* It was helpful (of course you have to find time to read it... I had it for like two weeks before even cracking the cover and my aunt kept saying "did it help you?" and I'd go... nope not a bit. ROFL)

Ahhhh, so that's why you weren't playing any games. Makes sense. I quit EQ2 again; my guild wasn't being very understanding of our need to deal with the children constantly, and the new expansion is extremely group-oriented, there's really nothing else to do. So now I'm playing nothing (except DAZ). :p

My son started in on the terrible two's before he was two, and he's also the most stubborn child ever, I'm convinced. So I'm definitely sympathetic. Sometimes I wonder if I'm gonna make it, with all hair intact.

My husband would love if I didn't start playing again to save the extra money but, I miss em. I wanted to return to eq2, but I'm going to end up going back to wow instead. EQ2 is such a graphics hog and I gotta swap out cards all the time, I just don't want to deal with it. My sister plays anyhow at least I will have someone to jabber to every once and awhile.
Daz is fun and I love playing with it...but I'm having a hard time trying to decide what to render next, that means it's time for a break and a new muse so to speak.

I'd almost guess your son is somewhat like mine. Does he talk yet? My little guy just doesn't want to give it up(talking), or the bottles...or the diapers. lol

Oh my! We just tried to break my son of using the bottle (using a sippy cup instead). It was a two week battle that he ended up winning. I guess he'll be the only kindergartner using a bottle. :XD: (He turned 2 in November.)

And he doesn't talk, either. He'll occasionally say "ear" or once in a while mimic the sounds you make, but other than that...nothing. It worries me some, I'll admit. He was late walking, too.
