So here we are, I am going to be 18 weeks tomorrow! Time seems to be flying by me!
We had an office visit at 16wks, but the little one had their legs closed, so no peek there. We have an anatomy scan on 9/14, so hopefully the baby will be more cooperative and show us the goods! lol I'll update and let ya know when we find out!
We weren't going to, but I need a lot of new gear, so I figured, what the heck! If we don't see it at this appointment, we will go from there. Around 14wks I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, no fun! Gotta test my blood 4x a day, so far everything is working out really well with diet, no meds. My fasting numbers seem to be the hardest to control.
In an effort to help out more around the house, I picked up a part time job for about 20hrs a week. Maybe we'll have some spending money for a change? lol Would love to get back into making goodies, but it's hard using the same old things when everybody comes out with shiny new goodies every other day!
I'm going to try and work as long as I can and then go back after I have the baby, if my time off won't be too big of a deal since I am planning another c-section.
